Viber Bot Management

Viber Business Bots do not have a dedicated desktop web interface for configuration. Instead, all bot management functions are performed exclusively within the Viber mobile application on your phone.

From the mobile interface, you can copy or reset your API access token, update the bot's profile information (name, avatar, description, category, website, email), and manage administrator roles.


How to Access Viber Bot Settings

Follow these step-by-step instructions to find your bot management screen:

1. Open the "More" Menu

Open the Viber app on your mobile device. On the bottom navigation bar, tap the More (Додатково / Еще) tab, indicated by the three dots icon.

2. Go to Settings

In the menu that appears, tap on Settings (Параметри / Налаштування).

3. Open the "Bots" Section

Look for the Bots (Боти) option within the Settings menu and tap it.

4. Select Your Bot

You will see a list of all Viber bots created by or associated with your phone number. Tap on the bot you want to manage.


Available Management Features

Once you open your bot's management page, you can perform the following actions:

  • Copy/Reset Access Token (Key): Copy the bot's API token to connect it to the SMSBAT platform or reset it if it was compromised.
  • Edit Profile details: Change the bot's public display name, description, avatar, category, website URL, and email address.
  • Manage Administrators: Invite new administrators or transfer full ownership rights.
